I will use porter again, that’s for sure! I used Mercari twice in buying a projector, both were non working pieces of junk. Paid a little more than I wanted, but it was worth it. I’m very pleased with the projector and it’s operation. Porter Electronics was excellent to work with. The 4400 is quiet, operates smoothly, and is compact. The carousel tray allows you to load slides quickly and gives you access to all slides at all times. Scan forward and in reverse-as well as adjust the focus-with the same remote and without having to leave your seat. Its safety thermal fuses protect the projector from overheating while the slide prewarmer prevents the slides from "popping." When no slide is being projected, the dark screen shutter latch automatically masks the light. It accepts 2-by-2-inch slides in either 80- or 140- slide trays. The Kodak Carousel 4400 projector gives you sharp, bright images and quiet, dependable operation. You can adjust the projection level up to 16 degrees.
